Luxcara Invests in Norway’s Green Hydrogen Project
Germany and Norway-based Luxcara and GreenH have made a final investment decision for the Bodø Hydrogen Project in Norway. The project, funded partly by NOK 129 million (ca. EUR 11 million) from Enova, will have an initial 20 MW electrolyzer capacity, producing up to 3,100 tons of green hydrogen annually. Phase 2 could add 10 MW, totaling 30 MW and 4,800 tons. The hydrogen will supply a ferry connection, starting in 2026.
Motor Oil and TERNA ENERGY jointly proceed with the development of the first Offshore Wind Farm in Greece | ΤΕΡΝΑ ΕΝΕΡΓΕΙΑΚΗ
Greece-based Motor Oil and TERNA ENERGY have announced their collaboration to develop the first Offshore Wind Farm (OWF) in Greece. The project will be executed through Aioliki Provata Traianoupoleos, a subsidiary of TERNA ENERGY, which holds the rights to develop a 400 MW pilot OWF in the sea area south of Alexandroupolis and north of Samothrace. This project is expected to be completed by the end of the decade and will be a significant contribution to Greece’s National Offshore Wind Farm Development Program. The initiative aims to enhance domestic clean energy production and promote sustainable development in the country.
