The EU is funding projects such as modernisation of public lighting, renovation of public buildings, renewable energy generation, construction of solar parks, instalment of grid-scale energy storage, and upgrades of district heating and cooling networks in 7 countries - Romania, Czechia, Poland, Lithuania, Hungary, Slovakia, Croatia.
