MEPs urge ECB to consider climate impact on price stability

The European Parliament’s Economic Committee has requested the European Central Bank (ECB) to consider the implications of climate change on price stability. MEPs emphasized that the ECB should adopt a ‘Geopolitics plan’ for 2025-2030 that includes climate risks, to develop better forecasting models and improve policymaking.
