Green Shipping Corridor Program funds shore power projects in British Columbia

Canada has funded three projects in British Columbia under the Green Shipping Corridor Program’s Clean Ports stream. These projects aim to implement shore power solutions at various terminals. Seaspan Ferries received up to $6,412,500 for upgrading shore power equipment at four terminals. The Greater Victoria Harbour Authority was allocated up to $22,500,000 for the Ogden Point cruise terminal to support a green cruise corridor. Vancouver Fraser Port Authority will receive up to $6,600,000 for upgrading shore power at the Canada Place cruise terminal.
