India - Qatar Joint Statement on Strategic Partnership

India and Qatar have strengthened their bilateral relationship, particularly in energy cooperation. Both sides agreed to enhance mutual investments in energy infrastructure and promote trade in the energy sector. During a recent state visit, Qatar’s Amir announced a commitment to invest USD 10 billion in various sectors in India, highlighting the importance of diversifying trade and energy cooperation between the two countries. Regular meetings and the establishment of a Joint Task Force on Energy will facilitate ongoing collaboration.
