Canada Invests in Phase 2 of the Global Initiative for Transitioning Remote Communities to Renewable Energy

Canada has announced a $500,000 contribution to Phase 2 of the Global Initiative for Transitioning Remote Communities to Renewable Energy, partnering with the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA). This initiative aims to develop five case studies of successful business models, conduct country-level assessments for renewable energy potential, and organize workshops to enhance skills and knowledge in renewable energy project planning and maintenance for remote communities.
