EIB lends €200m to BNP Paribas Leasing Poland

The European Investment Bank (EIB) has lent €200 million to BNP Paribas Leasing Services to expand financing for Polish companies, including SMEs and Mid-Caps.

  • Main action: The €200 million EIB loan to Warsaw-based BNP Paribas Leasing Services will be used to support more than €500 million of new investments by SMEs, Mid-Caps, housing associations and private individuals in Poland; a minimum 30% of the funding is earmarked for climate change mitigation measures such as heat pumps, solar power deployment, and energy efficiency in buildings. The deal is the second EIB loan to the same lender (the previous was a €200 million credit in 2021).
