thyssenkrupp nucera completes GHS technology asset acquisition

thyssenkrupp nucera has completed the acquisition of key technology assets from Green Hydrogen Systems (GHS).

• Acquisition completed: thyssenkrupp nucera acquired intellectual property and a test facility with a full-size prototype in Skive, Denmark, following receipt of all necessary regulatory approvals and the consent of the court-appointed insolvency administrator; the purchase price was financed from existing liquidity and reported in the high single-digit million euro range.
• Technology and strategic details: The assets strengthen thyssenkrupp nucera’s position in alkaline water electrolysis (AWE), adding focus on pressurized solutions that operate at up to 35 bar for industrial compressed-hydrogen applications; the transaction was announced in June and finalized on 2 September 2025.
