UK announces £448m public funding to decarbonise shipping
The UK government announces £448 million of public investment for the UKSHORE programme and unveils £700 million of private sector investment—over £1.1 billion total—to cut carbon emissions from shipping, announced at London International Shipping Week (LISW) on 15 September 2025.
