JPO and WIPO announce EXPO2025 award winners

The Japan Patent Office (JPO) announced the EXPO2025 JPO-WIPO AWARD in cooperation with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).

• The JPO (in coordination with WIPO) established the one-off EXPO2025 JPO-WIPO AWARD to recognize companies using intellectual property to address climate change, women’s participation and empowerment, and youth participation; five Japanese companies were selected across three categories: climate change (2 companies), women’s empowerment (2 companies), youth participation (1 company) — winners: SPACECOOL株式会社［東京都］, 株式会社竹中工務店［大阪府］, 株式会社ナリス化粧品［大阪府］, ファイトケミカルプロダクツ株式会社［宮城県］, 鹿島建設株式会社［東京都］.
