Poland signs PLN 2.117bn for green hydrogen projects
Poland’s development bank BGK has formally signed agreements providing non-repayable loans for green hydrogen investments.
- Main action: BGK signed agreements for PLN 2.117 billion (USD 581m / EUR 498m) in non-repayable loans to five domestic companies to finance green hydrogen projects with a combined capacity of 343 MW. The funding is provided under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (KPO) instrument for hydrogen technologies.
- Background and project details: Support targets construction of RFNBO or low-emission hydrogen production facilities, including electrolysers and associated infrastructure, with a minimum project capacity of 20 MW; funding covers production, storage and transport investments under the KPO instrument.
