NetZeroNitrogen raises $6.6M to scale biofertiliser solution

NetZeroNitrogen announced an oversubscribed $6.6M Seed funding round co-led by World Fund (Germany) and Azolla Ventures (US), with participation from Ananke, Zero Carbon Capital, Revent, and Kibo Invest.

• The funding will accelerate NZN’s biofertiliser solution, targeting a $200B synthetic nitrogen fertiliser market, with significant commercial traction in Asia and a clear regulatory pathway in ASEAN countries.
• NZN’s biofertiliser uses endophytic bacteria to reduce both production and application emissions of synthetic nitrogen fertilisers, addressing major greenhouse gas emissions and environmental issues associated with current fertiliser use.
