AESL wins Rs 8,500 crore transmission project in Andhra Pradesh

Adani Energy Solutions Ltd. has announced that it won a ~Rs 8,500 crore inter-state transmission project in Andhra Pradesh.

• Project awarded through the Government of India’s Tariff-Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) framework; the SPV is Vizag Power Transmission Ltd.
• Scope includes a 4×1500 MVA, 765/400 kV GIS substation at Pendurthi (Vizag) and a 3×1500 MVA, 765/400 kV Khammam-II substation; AESL will add 1,582 ckm of transmission lines and 10,500 MVA of transformation capacity.
• The project is planned to support green hydrogen / green ammonia projects in the Vizag area and the rising data center and digital infrastructure load in the Pendurthi–Vizag region; it is contracted to be delivered in 30 months.
