Large Load Telemetry and PMU Requirements
Source: MISO · Jun 29, 2026MISO’s Large Load Working Group materials say the ISO will require new large-load telemetry and monitoring rules, including “real-time SCADA telemetry from large loads via ICCP” and telemetry from generation behind the same POI, and that these “requirements progress from Tariff obligation to detailed framework and BPM updates.” The presentation also says computational large loads must install PMU-capable equipment before service starts, with data streamed to the Transmission Provider.
