ANGOTIC 2026 spotlights digital transformation, AI, startups and infrastructure

ANGOTIC organisers announced the sixth edition of ANGOTIC will take place in Luanda at the Talatona Convention Center on 11-13 June 2026.

• Main announcement: The sixth edition of ANGOTIC (International Information and Communication Technologies Forum) will be held 11-13 June 2026 at the Talatona Convention Center in Luanda; the event expects more than 20,000 participants, approximately 100 national and international speakers, more than 300 startups (maximum capacity reached), approximately 200 exhibiting and non-exhibiting companies, 11 official sponsors, and nearly 5,000 tickets already sold.
• Background and programme details: The forum highlights Angola’s ICT initiatives including ANGOSAT-2, the National Space Programme, the National Broadband Network Project, expansion of fibre networks including the 2Africa submarine cable, and the recent commissioning of the Government Data Center and Cloud Platform; event features include a Startup Zone (Entrepreneurship Support Center, Investment Center, AI for Business Training Room, Digital Payments Hub, Hackathon focused on AI and Space Technology) and a Kids Zone (multiple STEM and immersive tech activities). The Digital Payments Hub will support integration with Pay4All (payment integration via references, Multicaixa, Multicaixa Express and e-Kwanza into a single platform within 24 hours).
