Bloom Energy Announces Gigawatt Fuel Cell Procurement Agreement with AEP to Power AI Data Centers

Bloom Energy has signed a major supply agreement with American Electric Power (AEP) for up to 1 GW of fuel cells, with an initial order of 100 MW. The fuel cell solution will help power AI data centers while providing 34% lower CO2 emissions compared to current generation resources in PJM Interconnection.
