Centuri acquires J.J. White to expand data center services

Centuri Holdings, Inc. announced that it has completed the acquisition of J.J. White, Inc. to expand its industrial and union electric capabilities, including in the data center market.
- The acquisition adds J.J. White to Centuri’s Riggs Distler operation, expanding union electric capabilities across the Northeast and Mid-West and strengthening Centuri’s position in mechanical and electrical construction for data centers and industrial end markets.
- J.J. White was founded in 1920 and is headquartered in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; it has nearly 1,000 employees, including more than 950 union field employees, $315 million in current contracted backlog, and $2.8B+ in pipeline opportunities, including several datacenter projects. Centuri said it anticipates more than $20 million in annual gross profit contribution and reiterated its ~2x year-end 2026 leverage target.
