CoreWeave has announced that it will expand its compute portfolio with the NVIDIA Vera CPU to support agentic AI workloads.
- The announcement was made on Sept. 30, 2026 during Fully Connected, CoreWeave’s AI cloud conference in San Francisco.
- CoreWeave said Vera will run bare metal on its platform alongside products such as CoreWeave Sandboxes; the company cited testing showing more than 3x faster agent sandbox startup times versus an x86 CPU.
- The release also says Vera rack-scale deployments include 128 CPUs, 11,264 cores, BlueField-4 DPUs, and Spectrum-X Ethernet switching, enabling more than 11,000 concurrent environments.
