CyrusOne names John Hatem chief executive officer

CyrusOne has announced the appointment of John Hatem as Chief Executive Officer and a member of its Board, effective immediately.

• Hatem, a nearly 15-year company veteran, previously served as President overseeing global sales, global procurement, and U.S. design, engineering, and construction; he succeeds Eric Schwartz as part of long-term succession planning.
• The announcement says Schwartz will work with Hatem on a smooth transition, and CyrusOne’s owners KKR and Global Infrastructure Partners said the company is positioned for demand for AI infrastructure.
