EESI and WRI host interregional transmission briefing

The Environmental and Energy Study Institute and the World Resources Institute have announced a public briefing on interregional transmission, scheduled for Wednesday, October 7, 2026, from 1:00 to 2:30 PM EDT.

• The event is online only and will be streamed via www.eesi.org/livecast; attendees are asked to RSVP through EESI.
• The briefing will focus on benefits of interregional transmission for the economy, climate, and grid reliability, including policy levers, regulatory hurdles, and solutions informed by the FERC 2024 regional transmission framework.
