Energy Vault has announced the acquisition of a U.S. battery energy storage development portfolio from Goshe Energy Storage, along with a credit facility from S2G Investments to support the projects.
- The portfolio adds approximately 2.3+ GW across 15 projects, including two ready-to-build projects of 150 MW and 200 MW expected to reach commercial operations in Q1 2028 and produce about $30 million of combined annual run-rate EBITDA.
- Energy Vault also secured a credit facility commitment of up to $40 million from S2G Investments; the company said its Asset Vault platform now targets $200M+ in 2028 exit run-rate EBITDA. The release also notes more than 75 years of combined experience joining from Goshe and references Energy Vault’s broader owned assets and modular data center expansion plans.
