EU updates climate and digital tagging for Germany RRP

The European Commission has published an updated staff working document (SWD(2026)153 final) updating the climate tracking and digital tagging of Germany’s recovery and resilience plan on 15 June 2026.

• Main announcement: The Commission presents an updated application of the climate tracking and digital tagging methodologies (Annexes VI and VII to Regulation (EU) 2021/241) for the modified German recovery and resilience plan; the document accompanies a Proposal for a Council Implementing Decision amending the 13 July 2021 approval.
