Greece updates climate and digital tagging of recovery plan

The European Commission has published an updated climate tracking and digital tagging staff working document for Greece’s recovery and resilience plan, accompanying a proposal to amend the Council Implementing Decision of 13 July 2021.

• The document updates the climate tracking and digital tagging of Greece’s modified recovery and resilience plan under Regulation (EU) 2021/241, using the methodologies in Annexes VI and VII.
• It lists numerous new or revised measures and their budgets, including EUR 450m for storage systems to enhance RES penetration, EUR 195m for electricity interconnection of islands, EUR 550m for small-satellites, EUR 350m for an AI Gigafactory, and EUR 2.520bn for the RRP Loan Facility energy-efficiency tranche.
