Ilham Aliyev opens Shukurbeyli village and key infrastructure projects

Ilham Aliyev inaugurated and opened multiple infrastructure projects during a visit to Jabrayil and Zangilan on 10 May 2026.

• Main actions: On 10 May 2026, President Ilham Aliyev (accompanied by First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva) inaugurated the Shukurbeyli village in Jabrayil district, inspected construction of the Jabrayil District Central Hospital, and attended the inauguration of the 330 kV “Shafag” substation in Soltanli village (owned by “AzerEnerji” OJSC).
• Additional project details: He attended inauguration of the first residential complex in Zangilan (consisting of 104 apartments), met with families and residents moving to the new housing, and laid the foundation stone for Zangilan City Park Hotel; these events are reported on the official presidential website (president.az).
