Ireland recovery plan adds green and digital measures

The European Commission has proposed an amended Council Implementing Decision for Ireland’s recovery and resilience plan, updating reforms, investments, milestones, and funding tranches.
- The annex details green transition, digital transformation, social and economic recovery, audit/control, and REPowerEU measures, including rail electrification, a government data center, biomethane, offshore wind, housing, and health reforms.
- It also sets out the estimated total cost of the plan at EUR 1,153,797,007 and specifies instalments of EUR 323,803,933, EUR 115,511,906, EUR 240,286,336, and EUR 249,302,195 plus a fifth instalment of EUR 224,892,637.
