Italy recovery plan annex expands digital and infrastructure measures

The European Commission has attached an annex to a proposal updating Italy’s recovery and resilience plan, setting out reforms, investments, milestones, and funding amounts.

• The document covers digital public administration, justice, procurement, energy, transport, education, health, climate, and social measures, with multiple milestones running from 2021 to 2026.
• It also sets financing figures including an estimated total plan cost of EUR 194.4 billion, REPowerEU costs of EUR 7.21 billion, and several transfer amounts and instalment amounts for specific measures.
