TCS HyperVault plans large AI data center campus

TCS subsidiary HyperVault has announced plans to establish a large-scale AI data center campus in Telangana.
- HyperVault has secured 264 acres of land in Hyderabad to develop an AI data center campus of up to 1GW capacity for frontier AI companies and hyperscalers.
- The project will be executed in phases and is expected to use green energy and water-neutral design principles; HyperVault and its partners expect to invest up to Rs 70,000 crore.
- The release says the campus will support high-density GPU deployments for AI training, inference and advanced computing workloads and will be built with liquid cooling, direct-to-chip cooling, and high rack density.
- Telangana officials, including Chief Minister Shri A. Revanth Reddy and IT & Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu, discussed the project as a strategic development for the state and for India.
