Virtus Holdco seeks permit for Saunderton data campus

The Environment Agency has published an environmental permit application advertisement for Virtus Holdco Limited’s Saunderton Data Center Campus in Saunderton.

• The notice says the Environment Agency is consulting the public on the application under reference EPR/SP3429LN/A001 and will decide whether to grant or refuse the permit and what conditions to include if granted.
• The notice applies to England and refers to permit categories including installations, water discharge and groundwater activities, and medium combustion plant and specified generators; it was published on 28 July 2026.
