Wistron opens first U.S. AI smart factory in Texas

Wistron Corporation has announced the grand opening of its first U.S. smart factory, the D1 AI smart facility in Fort Worth, Texas.

• The facility is a US$ 700 million site spanning approximately 324,000 square feet and was unveiled at a ceremony led by Wistron Chairman Simon Lin and NVIDIA Founder and CEO Jensen Huang.
• The plant currently produces the NVIDIA GB300 Grace Blackwell Ultra Superchip and is expected to also produce the NVIDIA Vera Rubin Superchip; Wistron said the site will be a core engine of its U.S. manufacturing operations and support AI infrastructure production, testing, and after-sales service.
