  Plans filed for 100,000 sq ft data center outside Dallas, Texas

  BT Gateway Data Center LLC has filed plans to develop the BT Gateway Data Center outside Royse City, Texas.

  • The company filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation for a 100,000 sq ft data center at 4989 County Road 2656; construction on the $384 million project is slated to run from August 2026 to February 2027.
  • The site is outside Royse City in Hunt County, near Dallas; BT Gateway shares an address with Belltown Power, which has previously announced multiple North Texas data center projects and a separate 1.5GW project in Leon County known as Project Kahla.
