ADB and Rönesans finance hyperscale data center in Türkiye

ADB and Rönesans Holding A.Ş. have announced a $75 million loan to expand renewable energy investments and develop digital infrastructure in Türkiye.

• ADB’s first loan with Rönesans will support Rönesans’ renewable energy platform, including additional battery energy storage capacity by 2029 and a hyperscale data center powered by hybrid renewable energy.
• The project is described as ADB’s first financing for digital infrastructure in Türkiye and is aligned with ADB’s interim country partnership strategy for Türkiye, 2025–2027; ADB and Rönesans said the financing supports energy security, decarbonization, and digital capacity for cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and other data-intensive services.
