AirTrunk and ib vogt launch Malaysia renewable VPPA

AirTrunk and ib vogt have announced that a 29.99 MWac solar project supporting AirTrunk’s operations in Malaysia has commenced commercial operations under Malaysia’s Corporate Green Power Programme (CGPP).
- The project is the first renewable energy Virtual Power Purchase Agreement (VPPA) for a data center under the CGPP and is now generating and delivering clean energy into Malaysia’s grid.
- The long-term agreement supports AirTrunk’s goal to match 100% of electricity consumption across its data center platform with renewable energy by 2030 and is presented as a milestone in Malaysia’s energy transition.
