Aliyev meets Global Infrastructure Partners chief in Baku

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received Adebayo Ogunlesi, Founding Partner, Chairman, and Chief Executive Officer of Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP), in Baku on 25 September 2026.

• They discussed the memorandum of intent on long-term cooperation signed in Davos between SOFAZ, BlackRock, and GIP, and reviewed the results and prospects of the partnership.
