Azerbaijan opens metal electric pole plant in Aghdam

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has inaugurated a metal electric pole production facility owned by Construction LLC in Aghdam Industrial Park.

• The facility is located on 1 hectare in Aghdam Industrial Park, uses Chinese technology, has an annual capacity of 7,200 tons of metal electric poles, targets domestic and export markets, and received an investment of 2.96 million manats, including a 1.2 million manat guaranteed loan from the Azerbaijan Business Development Fund and approximately 443,000 manats in VAT and customs concessions on imported equipment.
• Aghdam Industrial Park, established in 2021 and spanning 190 hectares, has granted residency to 32 business entities with over 312 million manats in planned investment; 142 million manats have already been invested, creating nearly 970 permanent jobs, and residents have produced 945 million manats of products, including 39.5 million manats in exports.
