Crusoe and atNorth to plant 65,000 trees in Iceland

Crusoe has announced a tree-planting initiative in Iceland in partnership with atNorth.

• Announcement: Crusoe and atNorth will sponsor planting 65,000 trees over the next five years to support the municipality of Rekjanesbær and Iceland’s 2030 Forest Initiative; this is linked to Crusoe’s expansion of cloud computing capacity at ICE02.
• Background & implementation: atNorth provides renewable-powered, circular-design data centers and will collaborate on annual planting efforts plus educational and sustainability initiatives; the municipality’s goal is 210,000 trees by 2030, and Crusoe and atNorth teams will participate in planting and local engagement.
