DataBank supports Texas rules for responsible data centers

DataBank has announced its support for Texas Governor Greg Abbott’s efforts to promote responsible data center development, including transparency around power, water, and resource use.

• DataBank said its Texas and other under-development facilities meet the outlined requirements and that it will continue cooperating with PUCT and ERCOT to meet compliance standards.
• The company said it was founded in Dallas in 2005, operates almost 20 facilities in Texas, has already invested more than $1B in Texas, and has $4B in planned capital expenditures.
