Digital Core REIT announces data center divestments and acquisitions

Digital Core REIT has announced a proposed divestment and acquisition transaction involving three data centers in North America and two in Asia, subject to unitholder approval.
- The REIT will divest its 90.0% interests in the Los Angeles Facility and Toronto Facility, and a 39.0% interest in the Northern Virginia Facility, for an aggregate divestment consideration of US$315.9 million (subject to closing adjustments).
- It will acquire an additional 25.0% interest in the Osaka Data Center for ¥17.6 billion (about US$108.5 million) and a 2.5% interest in Digital Loyang 2 for SGD 87.4 million (about US$67.6 million); the announcement says the transaction would be about 4.1% accretive to DPU and would reduce leverage by roughly 290 basis points.
