DOE announces 2026 Cyclotron Road fellows cohort

The U.S. Department of Energy has announced the 2026 Cyclotron Road cohort at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory.

• 11 fellows were selected, adding 9 companies to the program and bringing Cyclotron Road’s totals to 100 companies and 131 fellows.
• Fellows receive two years of research funding, a living stipend, entrepreneurial training with Activate, and access to Berkeley Lab facilities; the announcement also cites alumnus Fervo Energy raising $1.89 billion and reaching an initial valuation above $10 billion.
