DSIT launches first Cloud Challenge Book

The Department for Science, Innovation and Technology has published its first Cloud Challenge Book, setting out five challenges across UK cloud infrastructure and inviting industry partners to innovate with government.

• The publication, developed by GDS and GCA with NCSC and GCU, covers legacy modernisation, digital infrastructure for an AI era, secure and resilient cloud, skills, and commercial value at a national scale.
• It is presented as the first Cloud Challenge Book and was published on 7 July 2026; contact for queries is cloud-strategy@dsit.gov.uk.
