Bechtel and Equinix Form Alliance for Global Internet Facilities

US-based Bechtel Corporation has entered into a strategic alliance with Equinix, Inc. to execute the largest expansion of Internet interconnection facilities ever contracted. This expansion aims to improve the performance and reliability of e-commerce platforms by utilizing tens of thousands of square feet of Equinix’s IBX facilities. Bechtel will manage the entire buildout process, providing engineering, design services, and construction management.
