EU Coreper agenda covers energy, climate and industrial files

The Permanent Representatives Committee (Part 1) has published a notice of meeting and provisional agenda for 11 and 13 November 2026 in Brussels, covering energy, climate, industry, transport, fisheries, environment, and employment items.

• Energy and climate files include the European Grids Package, the Industrial Accelerator Act, revised heat and fuel benchmark values, and a possible CCAC Ministerial Declaration; several items are listed as trilogue debriefings or preparation for trilogue.
• The agenda also includes transport and environmental decisions such as the EU position on MARPOL GHG amendments, as well as fisheries discussions on 2027 fishing opportunities in the Atlantic, North Sea, Mediterranean, and Black Seas and the Commission’s Vision 2040 for fisheries and aquaculture.
