EU Council amends Poland recovery plan decision

The Council of the European Union has approved an amended recovery and resilience plan for Poland and will replace the annex to its 17 June 2022 implementing decision.
- Poland requested the amendment on 15 July 2026 because the original plan was partially no longer achievable due to objective circumstances; the amendments cover 29 measures.
- The decision keeps Poland’s financial contribution unchanged at EUR 25,276,853,716 and loan support unchanged at EUR 29,441,303,518; the estimated total cost of the amended plan is EUR 54,718,157,234.
