The European Commission has published a Spain country report as part of the State of the Digital Decade 2026 package, with a corrigendum adjusting two figures in the digital connectivity table.
- The report assesses Spain’s digital performance, noting strong connectivity, digital public services, and progress in quantum technologies and semiconductors, while recommending more support for enterprise digitalization, scale-ups, cybersecurity, and ICT specialists.
- The corrigendum replaces the VHCN figure on page 6 from 85.5% to 85.6% and the 4-year progress figure from 22.7% to 22.8%; Spain’s roadmap is associated with EUR 26.23 billion in public budget, including EUR 22.2 billion from its recovery and resilience plan and EUR 4.9 billion from cohesion policy.
