Gorilla completes acquisition to launch Gorilla Tech Capital platform

Gorilla Technology Group Inc. has completed its acquisition of Shackleton Finance Limited and established Gorilla Tech Capital, a UK-authorised regulated capital platform to mobilise institutional capital for AI infrastructure, data centers and GPU-as-a-Service projects.

• Main action: Gorilla has acquired Shackleton Finance Limited and rebranded/repurposed it as Gorilla Tech Capital, a UK-based Alternative Investment Fund Manager authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, created to raise long-term capital from pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, insurers, family offices and other professional institutional investors to finance AI compute, data centers, GPU-as-a-Service and adjacent digital infrastructure.
• Background and implementation details: The platform will sit alongside Gorilla’s existing financing tools (project finance, customer prepayments, vendor financing and strategic partnerships); funds and investment vehicles will be established and marketed only in accordance with applicable laws and only to professional investors/eligible counterparties (not retail). Shackleton’s prior track record in venture, development capital and secondary investments will inform Gorilla Tech Capital’s fund management approach.
