HIVE signs Swedish HPC colocation LOI for Boden retrofit

HIVE Digital Technologies Ltd. has announced a non-binding letter of intent with an investment-grade Swedish technology company for long-term HPC colocation at its Boden, Sweden facility.

• The LOI covers an up to 10-year lease for HIVE’s 32 MW Boden facility and contemplates approximately 25 MW of critical IT load for HPC colocation.
• HIVE says it expects to retrofit the site to support up to 10,000 GB300 GPUs, with single rack densities up to 150 kW and hybrid direct-to-chip liquid cooling plus air cooling; the company also notes the Boden Municipal Council approved its acquisition of the facility on June 18, 2026.
• The release is a company announcement, not a completed deal: the LOI is explicitly described as non-binding and subject to negotiation and execution of a definitive agreement.
