Hyperscale Data updates Michigan AI data center progress

Hyperscale Data has announced an update on the progress of its Michigan AI data center, saying operations under a previously announced MSA are expected to begin in November 2026.

• The company said it has invested more than $70 million into ACS and the Michigan Facility, and has acquired a substantial amount of equipment needed to bring the contracted capacity online.
• The MSA provides an initial 20 MW of critical AI compute capacity with a 10-year term plus two five-year extensions; if fully exercised to 52 MW over 20 years, expected revenue rises to more than $3.0 billion. The company also said the Michigan Facility has approximately 340 MW of total potential capacity and that future expansion depends on power, infrastructure, financing, and regulatory approvals.
