IBM expands Digital Asset Haven for regulated digital assets

IBM has announced new capabilities for IBM Digital Asset Haven, including connectivity to Swift’s blockchain-based shared ledger and a new on-premises beta deployment option.

• The beta release lets clients connect to permissioned blockchain networks, use the ISO 20022 Messaging Adapter, and instruct tokenized deposit transactions through Swift’s shared ledger.
• IBM says the on-premises beta runs entirely on IBM Z and IBM LinuxONE inside a client’s own data center, with no dependency on public cloud infrastructure; the company says Digital Asset Haven launched its SaaS and hybrid options in October 2025.
• IBM says Swift’s ledger was announced at Sibos 2025, was designed with more than 40 financial institutions, and is being used by 17 first-mover institutions for pilot tokenized deposit transactions.
