INNIO books 450 MW data center engine order

INNIO N.V. has announced a first-time 450 MW firm order from a U.S. energy company for Jenbacher J624 containerized engines to support large-scale data center power infrastructure.

• The order covers 450 megawatts (MW) of power infrastructure for large-scale data center projects in North America and was booked in Q3 2026.
• The customer name was not disclosed; engines are expected to be delivered by 2028. INNIO said this is the first order by the customer of this scale and framed the deal as support for behind-the-meter and off-grid power solutions amid grid constraints and rising AI demand.
