The European Commission has published a corrigendum and annex for the 2026 State of the Digital Decade report, including the Ireland country report and updated figures.
- The corrigendum corrects COM(2026) 288 final (adopted 17.6.2026) and replaces Figure 3 values for VHCN coverage from 85.5% to 85.6% and 4-year progress from 22.7% to 22.8%.
- The Ireland report says the country has strong connectivity and digital skills, but still faces gaps in SME digitalisation, ICT specialist growth, e-health records, and cybersecurity; it also lists EUR 535 million in roadmap public budget and EUR 0.3 billion of the RRP allocated to digital.
- The document includes recommendations on digital skills, e-health, SME digitalisation, cybersecurity, connectivity & resilience, semiconductors, and green & digital alignment.
