Malta recovery plan adds climate, digital and justice reforms

The Council of the European Union has issued an annex to an amending implementing decision on Malta’s recovery and resilience plan.

• The document sets out reforms and investments across climate/energy, transport, digitalisation, health, education, justice, and REPowerEU, with milestones and targets through 2026.
• It includes quantified measures such as EUR 329,083,116 total estimated plan cost and EUR 81,139,507 for the REPowerEU chapter, plus specific project targets like school renovations, electric vehicles, digital services, and justice-system digitalisation.
